Fundación Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales (the “Organizer”), does this competiton in which can participate freely and gratuity, every fisic people, called "the Participant" who enter to the web page http://www.estatuas-vivientes.com.ar, with exclusion of the academic and administrative authorities from the institution, as the staff from the organizer entity and their married couple or consanguinity relative or affinity until second level, too.
Also it is excluded the stuff from their publicitty agency, their press agency and any third entity that the organizer recruit to provide any product related to the exhibition.
- “The Participant” only for his/her participation and registration, acepts fully every and each one of the provisions of these bases and conditions.
- The competition will only have validity in Argentinian´s Republic.
Mode of participation:
- The Competition is divided into two categories: Clasic Living Statue and Performance Living Statue.
- The competition will consist in the on-line votation from “the Participant”, AS EXCLUSIVELY ON-LINE SPECTATOR.For this, the participant ,on-line, will have to complete a coupon with his/her personal data (name/s, surname/s, address, telephone number, type and document number and e-mail), in which you will give your vote about the statue who deserves winning the contest, giving one (1) vote for each category, according to their own judgement.
- It is forbidden and it will be canceled any atempt or method of participation in the competition that would be made by any process, technique or mechanics of different participation than the ones which are detailed above. The use of participation´s techniques in the competition that comes from robotics, repetitive, automatic, programmed, mechanized, or similar will be canceled. The Organizer is not liable for those participants that will not recibed due to transmission failures or techniques of any kind-are attributable to others or not- are not attributable to the Organizer.
- Will participate the on-line votes that will be recibed from August 7th at 0.00 am at September 19th, 2010 at 00.00 pm.
- Awards to be put at stake in each competiton will be brought to the knowledge to the participants and to the general public through the print media, television and / or the Internet in which this competition will be published.
Lottery winners
- Of all the votes received online will be issued the corresponding coupons and they will be placed inside a box placed for this purpose at the headquarters of the encounter.
- On September 25th, 2010, at 08.00 pm., that is to say, on the same day of physical exposure of the "Living Statues", a Notary Public will do the lottery of all the coupons referred by “the Participant” on the Internet previously printed. It was drawn at random a coupon for the first prize and another for the second.
- Excerpted the winner´s coupons for the first prize and for the second prize, will verify the information provided. If not fulfil with any of the request/s, they will be eliminated as the winner of the first coupon extracted from the first prize as the second prize, proceeding a re-extraction at random from another coupon until one of them into line with the requirements requested.
- We proceed to notify the winners for this purpose using the data provided by “the Participant” in question. It is expressly clarified that “the Organizer” will be contacted by phone by the holder potential of each winner Prize at the same moment he/she was chosen in the lottery, and he will try to contact a maximum of three (3) times during the period of three (3) hours. In the event that the winner has an address outside the territory of the Republic of Argentina, he/she will be notified to the e-mail address entered in the coupon sent by him/herself.
- If after the time described in the preceding clause “the Participant” did not respond to the phone calls or did not respond the e-mail which was notified of the award prize in the period of 24 hours to be counted from the date of issuance thereof, it will be declared desert prize.
Prizes for participants:
The awards planned for this contest are:
- Both awards (first and second) consist of an MP3 player, which will be awarded to the winner of the first and second prize who must personally take it, in within 30 days of reported, at the home of “the Organizer” located at Paraguay 1338 5th floor of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. If “the Winner” lives abroad, should take over the withdrawal of the prize at the address provided above and shall notify convincingly to “the Organizer” who is entitled of the retirement.
- Both “the Participant” as “the Winner” expressly authorize the Organizer to use their names, numbers of documents, personal images and / or voices for advertise the promotion in any medium, for a period of six (6) months after the completion of the draw , from September 25th, 2010 and in the manner that “the Organizer” considers most appropriate and without this creates a right to compensation of any kind. All interested people may consult these bases in www.estatuas-vivientes.com.ar.
- All prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash and do not include any other benefit or service not listed in these Bases. All costs and additional costs related to retirement and / or use, enjoyment and joy of the Awards will be carried out by the winners, including but not limited to, travel and hotel expenses.
- “The Organizer” will retain for himself and have the Awards that have not been allocated as his only criterion. All Award allocated and not delivered to the potential winner within thirty (30) days from its determination as winner, will be transferred by “the Organizer” to the order of the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Nation of the legal form as appropriate.
- “The Organizer” is not responsible in case of any damage or loss that participation in the Promotion or the Awards, or their using, caused participants of this Promotion or third in their persons or property.
- “The Organizer” reserves the right to modify these Bases without altering the essence of the contest, assuming occurrence of a fortuitous event or force majeure. In any case, a change in these bases will not affect the eligibility of participants who have fulfilled the conditions of the original foundation before they have been edited. In case of differences between the content of these bases and communication that might be made of this contest, the provisions contained in these bases will prevail. Decisions by “the Organizer” on every aspect of this contest are final and irrevocable.
- Any tax applies to any act, fact or circumstance concerning Awards or their use will be made by the respective winners, as appropriate.
- Faced with any conflict, the Law will be Argentinia´s.
- For any legal question arising from the conduct of the Promotion, participants and the Organizer will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Buenos Aires, expressly and irrevocably renouncing any other jurisdiction and jurisdiction.
- The organizer reserves the right to suspend or cancel competitions without notice. If this happens, the prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the Organizer, among those who voted at the time of suspension or cancellation.
- The Organizer reserves the right to change the Bases without notice, and with effect from the moment of change.

- The prizes to the winners of the competitions are the ones which the Organizer publish in the respective sections of the website.
- The awards are taken at the headquarters of the Organizer, within thirty (30) days of the end of the competition with the presentation of proof of identity of the winner. In the case of winners not based in Buenos Aires or its zone of influence, the awards may be referred by the Organiser, after crediting reliability of the winner, with shipping costs charged to the beneficiary.
- Prizes are not exchangeable, without exception. Decisions on awards or any other issue, taken by the Organizer can not be appealed and the Participant may not make any claim about it.
- The Organizer may, if desired, indicate on their websites, offices, vehicles, correspondence or publications the name and surname, city of residence and country of residence of the winners of the competitions.
- Faced with any conflict, the Law will be Argentina and the jurisdiction of the courts of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires of Argentina with express waiver by the Participant, who might otherwise fall due to people or place of residence of the Participant.
