Legal Bases of the National Contest of Living Statues

“You choose the Living Statues”

1. Fundación Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales (the “Organizer”), does this contest in which can participate freely and gratuitously, every physic people, called "the Participant" who visits the exhibition “12th National Contest of Living Statues” which is going to be held September 25th 2011, with exclusion of the academic and administrative authorities from the institution, as the staff from the organizer entity and their married couple or consanguinity relative or affinity until second level, too. Also it is excluded the stuff from their publicity agency, their press agency and any third entity that the organizer recruit to provide any product related to the exhibition.
2. “The Participant” only for his/her participation and registration, accepts fully each and every one of the provisions of these bases and conditions.
3. The competition will only have validity in Argentinian´s Republic. 

Mode of participation:

4. The Competition is divided into two categories: Classic Living Statue and Performance Living Statue.
5. The Participant will have to complete a coupon with his/her personal data (name/s, surname/s, address, telephone number, type and document number and e-mail), choosing the statue who deserves winning the contest, giving one (1) vote for each category, according to their own judgment. And also the participant will have to answer to one simply question about basic information of the postgraduate and undergraduate that the organizer delivers.
6. It is forbidden and it will be canceled any attempt or method of participation in the competition that would be made by any process, technique or mechanics different from the ones which are detailed above. The use of participation´s techniques in the competition that comes from robotics, repetitive, automatic, programmed, mechanized, or similar will be canceled. The Organizer is not liable for those participants that will not receive due to transmission failures or techniques of any kind -attributable to others or not- are not attributable to the Organizer.
7. The votes will be put inside a box ad-hoc placed in the principal room of the property in Paraguay 1338 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires until 18:30 hours. The votes delivered out of that time will be canceled.
8. Awards to be put at stake in each competition will be brought to the knowledge of the participants and to the general public through the print media, television and / or the Internet in which this competition will be published.
9. On September 25th, 2011, at 19:30 hours, that is to say, on the same day of physical exposure of the "Living Statues", a Notary Public will do the lottery. It will excerpt at random a coupon from the box, which is mentioned in the 7th article of these bases. The Notary will verify the information provided checking if the answer of the elemental question is correct. If the coupon is not fulfill with any of the request/s, it will be eliminated as the winner, preceding a re-extraction at random from another coupon until one of them accomplish the requirements requested, the same will be done for the second prize. It is essential that the winner, who must be present, has his/her identity card in order to check his/her identity.

 

Prizes for the participants
The awards for this contest are the following:

10. For the first place, a DVD Player.
11. Both “the Participant” as “the Winner” expressly authorize the Organizer to use their names, numbers of documents, personal images and / or voices for advertise the promotion by any media, for a period of six (6) months after the raffle, from September 25th 2011 and by the manner that “the Organizer” considers most appropriate and without no compensation of any kind. 
12. All prizes are not transferable and not changeable for cash and do not include any other benefit or service not listed in these Bases. All costs and additional costs related to retirement and / or use, enjoyment and joy of the Awards will be carried out by the winners, including travel and hotel expenses.
13. “The Organizer” will retain for himself and have the Awards that have not been allocated as his only criterion. All Award allocated and not delivered to the potential winner within thirty (30) days from its determination as winner, will be transferred by “the Organizer” to the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Nation of the legal form as appropriate.
14. “The Organizer” is not responsible in case of any damage or loss that participation in the Promotion or the Awards, or their using, may cause participants of this Promotion or third in their persons or property.
15. “The Organizer” reserves the right to modify these Bases without altering the essence of the contest, assuming occurrence of a fortuitous event or force majeure. In any case, a change in these bases will not affect the eligibility of participants who have fulfilled the conditions of the original foundation before they have been edited. In case of differences between the content of these bases and communication that might be made of this contest, the provisions contained in these bases will prevail. Decisions by “the Organizer” on every aspect of this contest are final and irrevocable.
16. Any tax applies to any act, fact or circumstance concerning Awards or their use will be made by the respective winners, as appropriate.
17. Faced with any conflict, the Law will be Argentinian´s.
18. For any legal question arising from the conduct of the Promotion, participants and the Organizer will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Buenos Aires, expressly and irrevocably renouncing any other jurisdiction.
